Our unique programs are preschool inspired with a circle time (music, movement, story), a group project-focused art, and activities promoting exploration, creativity, and of course play! We change up the activities according to the children's interests and we document the children's thoughts and ideas. Each camp will be different because each child is unique! Our classes promote collaborating with peers, a sense of community, and care for one another. Here's a snippet from one of our classes last week!

Our next group of summer camps begin in August 2016! Our next Fall program begins in September!
I fell in love with this shop when I first saw her cute baby items on her Instagram page. I purchased a few bibdanas (okay, alot) for my now 14 month old. I love how stylish they look on him and they match his outfits perfectly, not to mention the perks of this 2 in 1 accessory. We use it on cooler days as a neck warmer/drool absorber. Here is Grace's story.
Bean + Boo Company launched its Etsy shop in April 2015. I am a mother of two young children and work full-time outside of home as an accounting clerk. I sew top knot head wraps for all ages. Mommy + baby sets are available with plenty of modern prints to choose from. I also sew fashionable bibdanas backed with absorbent organic bamboo terry, a must have for drooling babies and messy eaters.
How do you juggle running a business while being a mom?
I take advantage of nap times; the nap time hustle I call it! When my kids are awake, they hang out with me in my sewing room. I get my older one involved in what I do, such as helping me sort bobbins and buttons. We make trips to the post office together to ship orders and I try to make it fun and educational for her.
What do you find most challenging?
Time is against me. Sometimes I would give up eating lunch for a quick sewing session! I want to introduce more items to my product line but I have trouble executing this because of the lack of time. Why can't there be 26 hours in a day.
What advice would you offer mother’s who would like to start a business?
One advice that I would like to share is don't compare yourself with others. I believe in collaboration over competition. When moms learn from each other and join together, we can make a difference in our lives and community. The community of Mom-trepreneur is very supportive and inspiring so don't be afraid to reach out to other moms for advice and help.
What are the future plans for your business?
Bean + Boo is primarily online based but I would like to work with more local stockists in carrying my products. Currently, you can find my head wraps and bibs at Second Nature Home Boutique.
