Private School or Public School? French or English?
Is your child at the RIGHT school? For as long as I can remember, when I was still in the public school system, our teachers went on strike from time to time. To this day, it seems that it has not changed. Unfortunately the system has not improved, hence why we have decided that we will be sending our children to private school. I've done some research and surprisingly there are some schools that are quite affordable. Not to mention that there are financial aid options too. Since this is in the plan for our future, we are starting early so that we can plan our finances accordingly. Here is an event that may help families find the right school for them or perhaps educate them a little more about their options. OUR KIDS, Canada's guide to private schools, invites you to the Vancouver Private School Expo on Sunday November 16th to explore the independent school options available locally and internationally. At the Expo, you will learn everything you need to know about private schools: how much they cost, what financial aid and scholarships are available and how to choose the best one. Meet with the local K-12 schools and top-ranked boarding schools from across Canada, Hawaii and the USA. Gain the knowledge you need to make the right decisions about your child's education. WHEN: Sunday, November 16th, 2014 (12:00 PM to 4:00 PM) WHERE: Westin Bayshore Hotel, 1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver ADMISSION: $10 per family with pre-registration online plus you'll receive a welcome tote-bag and copies of Canada's Private School and Summer Camp Guide. |
