The aim of the program is to:
Students will learn how to move creatively, intuitively, and mindfully. Students will also gain a greater awareness and a deeper understanding of how their bodies can move and dance through creative expression. In the dance portion of the course, students will learn the basics of the most popular types of dances such as ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. In the yoga mindfulness portion of the course, students will learn the various benefits of yoga through deep breathing exercises, stretching, and building strength and mobility through different yoga styles and poses. Each yoga module will help students discover their strengths and capabilities by challenging their bodies and minds through a series of yoga flows, postures, and exercises. *please bring a water bottle **proper dance/exercise attire required This is a registered program.
