Mini Pianists & Musical Friends

​Ages 3.5 to 5.5

A fun musical learning journey with Beethoven Bear, Mozart Mouse™ and our WOLO musical friends!

Young children will learn the basics of piano and explore music by singing, dancing and exploring other instruments too while building on their fine motor skills/techniques, letters/numbers and imagination! 

Pre-requisite: Completion of Blast Off with the Piano or completion of a group trial piano session.

Duration: 22-24 weeks; 45 minute classes

Key learning outcomes:

• Learning clefs, directional movement, and line/space on the musical staff
• Identify patterns, call and response, and simple beats
• Be able to move to music and tap, clap, and sing along
• Independent fingering, compose simple melodies, and beginning finger/hand techniques
• Exploring various genres of music from classical to jigs
• Experience success, confidence and sharing of ideas
• Opportunity to perform amongst peers ​and join our recitals
• Socialization, learning from one another and meeting new friends

This group lesson includes: singing, listening, movement, rhythm activities, and beginner activities on the keyboard.

At the end of the group lesson, students will continue onto the ​next level of group piano lessons and/or private piano lessons.
